The antenna cured the problem. My Garmin 440s was loosing siginal while traveling and is very serious ofshore. Amazon is the best place to find it. This antenna works well. I highly reccomend for ofshore fishing.

If using this antenna for a GPS 60Csx you will need the MCX to BNC adapter cable. This antenna came as advertised.
The Garmin antenna is well built, sturdy and I'm confident will stand up to the abuse it will sustain from long-term use offshore. The Garmin antenna consistently showed higher signal strength, by from what I can tell was 10-20% better than the aftermarket antenna that was claiming higher gains (I don't recall the dB). I compared this antenna with an after-market GPS antenna that was claiming that it performed better than Garmin. With two different receivers, I visually compared the signal levels between the two antennas.
